Inlay die cuts over Glossy paper with Video

Inlay die cuts over Glossy Paper

Using your dies in many different ways is an energizing part of cardmaking. In today’s project, I create a colored panel to show through the intricate inlay die cuts on a panel. It’s an easy way to get messy color look really great.

Glossy Paper Panel

Glossy White Paper has a unique quality of allowing ink to react when it’s introduced to rubbing alcohol. By dripping ink onto the paper surface, it will react as soon as rubbing alcohol it misted on top. The color combinations are magical!

Inlay die cuts (putting them back in the paper)

I have created a card today that could appear as a sympathy card or be given subtle changes to make it an all occasion card. How would you change this design to suit your card making need? By placing the intricate dies in well planned places on the paper, it appears as if the leaves are falling from a branch. To inlay die cuts, simply place them back into the area which they were cut, and secure the paper to the panel with small pieces of dimensionals or tape.
