OSAT Blog Hop – Kids Theme

Kid’s Theme Card & Treat Wrapper

Welcome to this month’s One Stamp at a Time Design Team Blog Hop. For the month of August we are all featuring projects with a kid’s theme. I have chosen to create a greeting card and treat package for one of my son’s favorite teachers. It comes together very easy and is simple enough to duplicate.

Scroll down for the link to the next blog featured in this hop. I am thankful to be included in this talented group of crafters and hope you like all of the projects offered. Be sure to visit as many of the design team member’s projects as you can for more great ideas!

Little boys like dinosaurs + I like ombre’ stamping = Ombre’ Stamped Dino!

To enhance the look of a stamped dinosaur, I chose to do a rock and roll stamping technique to give more coloring to the stamped image. The idea is to ink up the stamp with the lighter shade of ink. Then roll the edge of the stamp into the darker ink pad and SHAZAAM! You’ve got a multicolored dinosaur. It works nice for plants as well.

For a visual demonstration of this technique, please see links below to the YouTube video tutorial.
