Get Well card for Ink & Inspiration Blog Hop

Today I am pleased to participate in the Ink & Inspiration Design Team Blog Hop. We are all featuring a project that is either a sympathy, sorry or get well card. I have chosen to use Teeny Tiny Wishes stamp set and Just Add Color DSP for warm and cozy get well card. This stamp set works so well with every single occasion I can think of and is available in the Annual Catalog.

Scroll down for the list of blogs featured in this hop. Be sure to visit as many of the design team member’s projects as you can for more great ideas!

Creating a hand colored background

By adding a hand colored background to your project, there is a unique element that makes this project all your own.

I used the new Stampin’ Blends alcohol markers along with Just Add Color Designer Series Paper for an easy to create background. Using just a few colors, the panel has a unique yet organized look. Stampin’ Blends are easy to use to create a shaded look as well! After coloring the leaves, I used the gray markers to outline a drop shadow for a realistic look.
