Hello and thanks for stopping by today. Happy Mother’s Day to all you Mommies and women who help to shape those in your life. You are loved, appreciated and we are blessed to know you. In recognition of today, I have created a Mother’s Day scrapbook page from two photos of my own mother and each of my two sons (when they were tiny). If you follow my page, you know of my children’s adoption into our family at birth and how blessed we are to have these two miracles as our children. Don’t miss the video tutorial (links below) for a look at the creation of this layout and a special message from the boys.

To break in a new stamp set, I sit down and just play with it on paper. This project was exactly that- a play on paper.
I’ve wanted to work these two photos into a single Mother’s Day scrapbook page for some time and at last came up with a few ideas. The smaller photo is featured in an oval with the Layering Ovals Framelits dies and the larger photo is simply added to a layer of card stock. Both photos are of my own mother and each of my sons, when they were little tiny guys. The background of the page is created by stamping different generations of ink on the paper. Super simple but the look of these stamps is great! Playing with it has given me loads of new ideas.
