Hello and thanks for stopping by today! I’ve got a few photos from Nate playing soccer last season and need to save this memory for his future self. Nate has a desire to play soccer but also has many challenges that prevent him from socializing with other children. We have evolved more into a backyard soccer family but are still trying to engage him with others. As an encouragement to help him visualize playing on the soccer field, I created this page to help him remember that he CAN do this.

We Must Celebrate stamp set
The cheering section of any soccer game is an important part of a player’s experience. Shouting out a “way to go” or a friendly wave can go a long way. Being as I created this page for encouragement to my son, Nate, I built him a fun and friendly peanut gallery of friends. The large stamp image of this group of animals is stamped to the Whisper White card stock panel and colored with Stampin Blends alcohol markers. The coloring is kept simple as not to draw too much attention from Nate’s cool photo.
Creating a themed scrapbook layout
Not having anything in my supplies that are directly related to this sport, I’ve drawn inspiration from the photograph itself. The beautiful green tones will pair nicely with a piece of DSP from Myths & Magic Specialty DSP. Taking the colors in this paper, I can add the correct ink and card stock to the project. I really love having all of the color coordination set up for success. Thank you, Stampin’ Up! .
