Hello and thanks for stopping by today! Today is the March Ink & Inspiration Blog Hop, featuring projects made with the theme of Chocolate Bunnies. Inspiration comes from the most unlikely of places but today I’m literally stamping a chocolate bunny!

Sweet Little Something stamp set
This month’s March Ink & Inspiration Blog Hop was a great opportunity for me to ink up this bunny. Seems like this type of stamp is one that folks either love it or they hate it. I have to say that honestly, I’m not a big fan. However… what I do like it getting fantastic results from a layering stamp set.
Creating a design with this image required me to add some color and interest to the project, without too many focal points. The Detailed Floral Thinlits plus a Memories & More card helped convey the Easter theme with a touch of delicacy. I stamped the bunny on the Stamparatus, which really helped line up the layering stamps for success. The bottom layer is a second generation of Early Espresso, the mid layer is a first generation of Crumb Cake and the top layer (the one with details) is a first generation of Early Espresso. I made sure to stamp the top layer twice in Espresso and then a layer of VersaMark clear ink. Adding the VersaMark clear ink helps to intensify the top layer and really bring out the details.
