Hello and thanks for stopping by today! Today is the March Stampin’ Dreams Blog Hop, featuring projects made with a common theme of Easter. I had a vision in my mind of a shining cross against a blue sky and recruited the ink smooshing technique for that easy and natural look. And it’s different for every card created.

Whisper White Thick panel: 4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″
Cross of Hope Bundle
Crafting with the Cross of Hope Bundle for the March Stampin Dreams Blog Hop was a natural choice for me. There is no sentiment in Hold on to Hope stamp set that reads Happy Easter so I enlisted Sweet Little Something and the Everyday Label Punch. I have been working with the new Stamparatus and am excited to try new techniques with it, such as ombre stamping.
The blue, cloudy sky background is created with the ink smooshing technique. By dabbing ink from the Soft Sky stamp pad and misting it with a Stampin Spritzer, the paper is dipped into the diluted ink and come out as a natural looking image.
Here is a list of participants in the Blog Hop, I encourage you to visit all of the amazing projects!
