Hello and thanks for stopping by today! The second release of Sale-a-bration is here and it brings some of the most waited for items. Now offered for choice of a free item with purchase is the Blossoming Basket Bundle, which includes the Blossoming Basket stamp set and the Basket Weave Dynamic textured impressions embossing folder. This is a brilliant combo! The embossing on this folder is 3D and really nice for springtime crafting. I want to explore what possibilities I can come up with this set so I created a Blossoming Basket Double Z Fold box card from one of Bronwyn’s amazing tutorials at AddINKtive Designs.

Fancy fold cards are not always a giant undertaking but they can be intimidating. Here is how I approach each project; the finished card will fit into a standard envelope, so…… it can’t be too big a project for me to tackle. Putting it into perspective is a big help. Plus, Bronwyn’s tutorials are really easy to follow, step by step and loads of photos.
Tips for this project
This box card design is perfect when I want to send a card that will be more than a card. Extremely sturdy and standing on it’s own, it really makes a statement.
The Blossoming Basket is stamped in Sahara Sand ink onto Sahara Sand card stock, then colored with Watercolor Pencils. I even added the exclusive watercolor pencil colors that came in the Lots of Happy Kit. Love that Lemon Lime Twist pencil, as it colors out nice and smooth then blends out with a Blender Pen.
The background paper is the brand new Springtime Foil DSP that is also a Sale-a-bration item that was just released. It’s colored in with Stampin Blends and check out how well this paper receives the color! Amazing!
The sentiment is hung suspended from the Z Fold, so it can be seen from the front facing part of the card.
Here is a list of supplies I used to make this card project. Links are here that you can click to get product info and purchase items, at no additional cost to you, as well. Thank you for your support with your purchase
Having more ways to create a focal point on your project can make a project work for you. I hope you like this project and will come back to visit often! Thanks for stopping by today.
