Hello and thanks for stopping by today! When a crafter (me) has a special friend that has a reason to celebrate, it’s a reason to create a special card. I could think of nothing better to send my friend, then the iconic image of a dozen roses!
A Dozen Roses card
measurements for this project
Whisper White Thick card stock card base: 4 1/4″ x 4 1/4″
Whisper White card stock scraps for stamping and die cut
Gold Foil paper scraps for die cuts
Inspired Events stamp set
When creating a card, there are many stamp sets to choose from and many will suite a common purpose. A favorite of mine is Inspired Events stamp set. There is a particular image of a rose that is brilliant! To celebrate and congratulate a friend with a handmade card, I thought of the vision of a dozen roses. Remembering these beauties brought the entire project together.
There are many roses on this card and each is unique. First stamped and heat embossed in gold onto watercolor paper, I used a few different stamp pads for coloring. Keeping it very simple with a messy style of watercolor, it went together in a flash! The corner images were easy to line up by using a die cut square as a guide. Add in the leaf framelits from Sweet Cake Framelits and there is a nice variety of leaves and stems to accompany this beautiful bouquet.
Here is a list of supplies I used to make this card project. Links are here that you can click to get product info and purchase items, at no additional cost to you, as well. Thank you for your support with your purchase
Having more ways to create a focal point on your project can make a project work for you. I hope you like this project and will come back to visit often! Thanks for stopping by today.
