Hello and thanks for stopping by today! Today is the February Creating Kindness Design Team Blog Hop. Below are links to all of the blogs in this Hop, showing more ideas with fancy fold cardmaking techniques. Are you excited? I have chosen to create and color a card with Stampin’ Blends alcohol markers and the Petal Passion Memories & More card pack for a design I am calling a swing-fold. Not sure if this fold really has a name but it’s really fun to create.

Some of my favorite images are birds. Bird stamps and papercraft supplies are found all over my studio, lol. The idea for this project came from the images in this card pack. The Petal Palette stamp set features a bird stamp but the Petal Passion card pack features another bird too! Featuring these four cards in my project helped it come together in a snap!
Are you a fan of fancy fold cards? Being a bit out of the norm, I like to switch up my routine and share a fun surprise with others. To create this card fold, I tucked about 1/4″ of the fussy cut flower “gates” to the back of the layers. For a strong hold I used Tear & Tape… worked like a charm! Now there are two areas that swing away from the card front. Fun and totally unexpected.
