Bubble Over stamp set

Bubble Over stamp set usually brings thoughts of masculine cards to my mind. As a complete change of pace, I’m going pink with pink die cut bottles from the Bubbles & Fizz DSP and the coordinating framelits. Making the bottle labels shiny and sparkling kick up the excitement and create a festive atmosphere.

Watercolor Smooshing Technique

Bottles of pink soda would surely cause a berry colored explosion! To create the look of exploding soda pop, I dabbed a piece of white thick card stock onto a plastic sheet with diluted ink. This is a technique called watercolor smooshing and it’s so much fun!

  1. Ya know what I love about this card? It looks like those bottle caps are exploding off the bottles and you’ve caught a magical moment frozen on your card! Amazing! Your watercoloring is gorgeous and the ribbon adds fun texture and a lightness to your card! Thanks for playing with us this week at TGIF Challenges!

  2. This is such a fun and friendly card. I love how the bottle caps appear to be in motion and popping off the bottles–that is brilliant! Thanks for sharing with us at TGIF this week. Smiles, Elizabeth
