Hello and welcome! Today I am featuring projects I have created with the Bird Banter stamp set. Bird Banter is a new stamp set from the 2018 Occasions Catalog. I was fortunate to receive this in advance of it’s release and create projects for 2017 OnStage in Salt Lake City. It’s my favorite from the selection I received and I’m excited to share today.
Bird Banter stamped images work well to watercolor. In this project, I stamped in black, watercolored the bird and fussy cut it out to place on the background. Easily a simple pop of color in this masculine card. Here is a link to this project: CLICK HERE
Speaking of watercolor, here is a watercolor card using only the image of the party hat! Here is a link to this project: CLICK HERE
One of my favorite cards from my OnStage display board, I colored with Stampin’ Blends alcohol markers for a striking contrast of dark to light. Even the background and layer are colored with Stampin’ Blends. Here is a link to this project: CLICK HERE
Together with the new colors of Glimmer Paper in the Occasions Catalog, these no line watercolor parakeets were a dream to work with. I colored the images with my stamp pads and added a fussy cut heart. Here is a link to this project: CLICK HERE
Fun, easy and quick! Stamping the toucan in a repeat pattern and then watercoloring one to feature as the focal point helped to liven up the neutral colors. Works well for a guy card too! Here is a link to this project: CLICK HERE
I get loads of compliments on my blog’s logo that are much appreciated! To help identify my display board area with who created the projects, I made this little sign to hang in the midst of my creations. The florals and greenery from Bird Banter stamp set were a great match for my logo and this plaque is still hanging in my studio today. It’s a great memory too! Here’s a link: CLICK HERE
There are no birds on this card, but the balloons and sentiment say it all. Aren’t the little extra images in Bird Banter great? I like to feature them in as many projects as I can. Here is a link to this project: CLICK HERE
I’ve saved my favorite for last! Here is a watercolor bird perched in front of a watercolor smooshed panel made to look like a rainforest. So much fun! Here is a link to this project: CLICK HERE
I hope you enjoy browsing through these projects. There are other Bird Banter cards I have created, and more yet to come!
