December Scrapbook Sunday Blog Hop

Hello and thanks for stopping by today! Do you have special photos that are sitting and waiting to be scrapbooked? I certainly do! Every holiday season brings me more special memories to record. For today’s project, I am participating in a scrapbooking blog hop. Many other crafters and I have linked our blog posts together to enable readers to “hop” from one project to another. Most of our projects will feature the same layout design as well, in hopes of giving lots of ideas for you to craft.

Petal Passion Memories & More card pack

Have you tried the Memories & More card packs in your scrapbook projects? Wow! It’s so easy to create with these cards and this card pack does not disappoint. The black and white design is very much my personal style. In fact, it was a major color factor my my wedding. In each pack of Memories & More cards, there are always bonus elements. This pack has components for creating not only scrapbook pages but handmade cards and home decor items as well!

This sketch was designed by the talented Pam Staples. Be sure to visit her blog in the list below.

Using Memories & More card packs on a layout

The first project I’m creating with this card pack is a scrapbook page. Using Pam’s layout design, I found a photo in a box that works well with the specialty frame. In fact, it’s a perfect fit! The layout has two major elements, so my photo is one of the two. For the other large element, I have chosen some of the card from the Petal Passion pack that fit this theme. Layering a bold stripe on a subtle solid helps to separate the two elements in a pleasing manner.

Let’s talk about stickers. From the age of 7 years old, I have been crazy for stickers. Really, who does not like stickers? There are a few stickers in this card pack that fit my project like a glove. Blending in with the design, I added several of the stickers in areas to help the focus travel. Much like the laser cut frame for my photo, the stickers are very fine detailed and easy to use. For a visual demonstration of this project, find the video inks below.

  1. What a beautiful couple! And a beautiful page! I generally don’t like stickers, but you really know how to use them and make them look FABULOUS, my friend. But then, you are quite talented 🙂
