2018 OnStage Display Stamper Blog Hop display01

Sweet Little Something Scrapbook Page

In our lives, we are all thankful for many things. My family is most thankful for the gift of our children through adoption. Our sons have each been with us within days of being born and we have wonderful memories to document for them. Creating scrapbooks is a great way to record these memories for the boys to look back on with love. Today I want to share a few photos from their early days. These photos are of the boys when they were the amazing age of one year old. Such a time of discovery!

My project is created with Sweet Little Something stamp set that was part of my 2018 OnStage Display of products from the Occasions Catalog. The stamp set will be available for purchase January 2018.

There is a new product on this project! The Sweet Little Something stamp set has the image of s plush toy bunny that pairs well with any baby project. It is a very large image and nicely fill up space on this scrapbook page. I will share many more projects using this stamp set in the near future. This stamp set was part of the display projects I created for Stampin’ Up!’s OnStage Display a few days ago. It will be available for purchase to the public in January 2018.

Tips for this project

The photos were the inspiration for the rest of the project. I matched the DSP & ink colors to the colors in the photo.

By using the Layering Squares Framelits, I created frames to hold the sentiment and for the stamped image. To make an impression of the square framelits on the paper, after it’s die cut, I added a smaller square on top of the die cut with the cut side AWAY from my paper, and dry embossed the paper.

Using a large stamped image is great in scrapbooking. Working it into a circular design was an easy way to feature all of the elements. This page could even be framed to hang on the wall of my children’s bedroom!
