Moon Baby scrapbook page with Video

Moon Baby Scrapbook Page

In our lives, we are all thankful for many things. My family is most thankful for the gift of our children through adoption. Our sons have each been with us within days of being born and we have wonderful memories to document for them. Creating scrapbooks is a great way to record these memories for the boys to look back on with love. Today I want to share a few photos from their early days. Trip was a tiny little peanut and bathed in his baby bath for a very long time. Nate quickly became a master splasher! We got a few pics of them as babies taking a bath and I find these two  photos close to my heartstrings.

There are some fun colors in common on these two photos. Going through my DSP stash, I found Birthday Memories DSP to have the colors in common. Playful Backgrounds stamp set has a few choices in bubbles and isn’t it fun to stamp bubbles! The kids are already loving this scrapbook page. I used the rock and roll technique to add a little highlight to the stamped colors.

Creating a Moon Baby scrapbook page is a snap with this wonderful stamp set. I took this as another opportunity to utilize the Stampin’ Blends alcohol markers too! Subtle colors are fantastic with the Stampin’ Blends.I colored directly onto the page.

Tips for this project

The photos were the inspiration for the rest of the project. I matched the DSP colors to the colors in the photo.

By using two blue stamp pads, the bubbles have a variation in the colors.

Staggering and overlapping the photos helps to open up design realty and let more stamping shine out.
