Today I am pleased to participate in the October Stampin’ Dreams Blog Hop. We are all creating a card with black, white and only one more color. I have chosen to create my project with Crushed Curry, so Painted Harvest stamp set brings in my greeting while Whole Lot of Lovely DSP is an easy go to resource.
Scroll down for the list of blogs featured in this hop. I am thankful to be included in this talented group of crafters and hope you like all of the projects offered. Be sure to visit as many as you can for more great ideas!

Adding just one color to a Black and White card
To add one color to a card is nearly heartbreaking for me. It’s because there are so many possibilities that are winners! For this project, I ended up with Crushed Curry for the October Stampin Dreams Blog Hop. Black and yellow are a nice color combination and my family are always happy to see yellow in my projects. It is a color that is easily recognized as relating to happiness.
One of my favorite papers this catalog year is Whole Lot of Lovely. This one packet of paper has an incredible variety of color and patterns to use in many projects. The image of the dandelions resonates with my kids, as we have been reading a book about the life cycle of a dandelion flower. It’s quite interesting! A Dandelion’s Life by John Himmelman is one of Trips’s current favorites.
Have fun visiting these friend’s blogs!
