Create Words from Die Cuts
This week at the Stamp Ink Paper Challenge, there is a color challenge! The idea is to create a card to fit the description. I chose to keep it Clean and Simple for this Halloween theme card. Green, Orange and Black are a good fit for Halloween!
This is a great opportunity to create a card with any products you wish while following the idea of a pre set theme. Be sure to go over to the page and check out all of the Design Team’s cards this week and if you are up to a challenge…. add a photo of your card as well!
Spooky Cat stamp set
Color challenges are a great opportunity for me to create a clean and simple Halloween card. The small potions bottles are an easy focal point and will go a long way to keeping the design simple. The fluid inside the bottles are varying colors of green, due to using a second generation of ink on the outside bottles. This was a perfect way to make them appear farther away than the bottle in the middle section.
Adding embossing paste to a clean and simple Halloween card
I did feel the need to add some colored embossing paste. Do you ever get the same urge 🙂 For a visual description on how I added this element, check out the YouTube video tutorial.
