Interactive Scrapbook Page
In our lives, we are all thankful for many things. My family is most thankful for the gift of our children through adoption. Our sons have each been with us within days of being born and we have wonderful memories to document for them. Creating scrapbooks is a great way to record these memories for the boys to look back on with love. Today I want to share an Interactive Scrapbook page project from when we visited Disney World during Halloween 😉 Those were happy times!

Interactive Scrapbook Page
Creating with Designer Series Paper is an efficient way for me to scrapbook. Whether using the pre-made Memories & More card packs or making the components myself from craft supplies…. it’s super-duper fast and always fun. Because the memories include the kids, they even get involved and want to play with the pages. Fun for everyone!
Tips for this project
The photo was the inspiration for the rest of the project. From the hat on his head, I took the colors of the photo frame. To set apart the orange in the frame, I used one of the stamps from Spooky Cat stamp set to allow a place for the eyes to rest. The green of the hat inspired the colors in the green squares and under the interactive scrapbook page.
To create the interactive scrapbook page flap, I created a flap that is 1/4″ larger at the top of the paper. Scored on the Stampin’ Trimmer and glued down with Fast Fuse Adhesive, there is enough room to hide a few pumpkins and a sneaky cat 🙂
To tie in the colors, I used a sponge brayer to make the Designer Paper have a shade or green. Easy peasy!
