Fall Theme Scrapbook Pocket Page

Fall Theme Scrapbook Pocket Page

In our lives, we are all thankful for many things. My family is most thankful for the gift of our children through adoption. Our sons have each been with us within days of being born and we have wonderful memories to document for them. Creating scrapbooks is a great way to record these memories for the boys to look back on with love. Today I want to share a few Fall Theme Scrapbook pocket page projects from when they were still wee ones 😉 Those were happy times!

Fall Theme Scrapbook Pocket Page

Creating with Pocket Pages is the most time efficient way for me to scrapbook. Whether using the pre-made Memories & More card packs or making the cards myself from craft supplies…. it’s super-duper fast and always fun. Because everything slides into place, the kids even get involved and take the pages apart and slide them back together. Fun for everyone!

Tips for this project

There are two common aspects for the photos of the boys. First, they were each respectively young. I’m guessing (without looking it up, lol) about 9 months old. Trip was so very small and Nate has been a big boy from the get-go. Second common trait is there is a small area of bright lime green in each photo. That’s a great, natural punch of color to work with! These projects now have a few things that I can tie together in the same project.

I chose to stamp with Posies & Paisleys stamp set to create my own card insert. Simple stamping, nothing complicated for the one stamped card. The second card features the tie in color and one die cut. The last is only DSP and can allow the kids to slide some things into the pockets, of their own choosing. These pockets really do make a great project!

Here is a list of supplies I used to make this card project. Links are here that you can click to get product info and purchase items, at no additional cost to you, as well. Thank you for your support with your purchase 🙂
