Merry Cafe’ Card
I woke up one morning this week and Fall has arrived! This week at the What Will You Stamp challenge, we are stamping with Merry Cafe’ stamp set. With Fall being my favorite season, I chose to use the fall sentiment on my card as a focal point. Be sure to go over to the page and check out all of the Design Team’s cards this week and if you are up to a challenge…. add a photo of your card as well!

Merry Cafe’ stamp set
There is so much good stuff in this stamp set. I love that the Coffee Cups framelits work with it as well! Because I am working on a theme this week of making papercrafts in my projects, I want to demonstrate how a shaker card works with this stamp set. The sentiments are what really stand out in Merry Cafe’ Check out the look of the gilded leaves and how it adds much to the stamped images.
When creating a shaker card, there are so many directions in which to take your project. As Painted Autumn DSP has this gorgeous pumpkin latte colored paper, it works great as a back drop for the metal shaker bits. To create the shaker, I used Lots of Labels dies to frame it out in an attractive focal point. Did you see the Gilded leaves?
To create the gilding, I first colored the stamped image with an Aquapainter and Peekaboo Peach stamp pad. After dry, I dipped the leaves directly onto the VersaMark ink pad and then dabbed it into gold embossing powder. After heat set, the gold adds a brilliant accent that is attractive and not too overwhelming
