Autumn theme Bridge Fold card

Autumn theme Bridge Fold Card

Today I am happy to bring you a card project I recently completed for AddINKtive Designs, by the wonderfully talented, Bronwyn Eastley. Following one of Bronwyn’s tutorials, I have had a fun time making this Autumn theme Bridge Fold Card. The tutorial instructions are clear and concise, which really was a help in zipping through this project. I chose to use the tutorial for creating a Hometown Greetings Lots of Labels Bridge Fold Box card and flip it to look like an Autumn/Harvest Scene using Brightly Lit Christmas Bundle. The lamppost die is fantastic! Have you tried it out yet?

Bridge Fold Card

One of my favorite things about creating with an AddINKtive Designs tutorial is the flexibility I have in customizing the project. Changing the colors to suit the personalized card is part of the fun of creating an autumn theme bridge fold card. I’ve added some personal touches, such as changing the theme of the card, to make it just from me.

This is an interactive card. The left side pulls out and away from the rest of the card to reveal a pumpkin patch! And the card lays nice and flat for mailing but also stands up on it’s own. It’s too cool!

Here are a few unique touches

For the theme and atmosphere of the card, I used Painted Autumn DSP. Fussy cut pumpkins are a great quick recipe for a pumpkin patch! The breezy and whimsical look of the patterned paper helps give the overall autumn theme bridge fold card.

Brightly Lit Christmas Bundle has the image of a really cool looking lamppost, which works well to attach to the bridge panel. The sign also works well to help complete the design and convey the greeting. I used watercolor paper and lime color.
