Quilt Theme Scrapbook Page
The days of Fall, sitting on the steep slope in our backyard and then rolling down it are such great memories! Scrapbooking with Christmas Quilt made it easy to create a quilt theme scrapbook page. Too many ideas are flying in my head for this bundle, guys! My kids love texture, so I planned this scrapbook page with touchy feely texture and visual images to match. The Quilt Builder dies contain a needle and spool that compliment any theme page so I chose warm and cozy for today’s project.

Quilt Theme Scrapbook Page
Creating a quilt theme scrapbook page fit nicely into my wheelhouse. I’m also a quilter for several years and can really put some designs into motion with this fantastic and unique stamp and die bundle. To create a cozy quilted look, without competing with the photos on the page, I stamped the background motifs in Smoky Slate, which is a medium gray color. So much design covers this page that I thought it a good idea to tame it back a bit by filling in only two of the designs. I matched the colors of ink to the colors in the photos.
Stamping in a second generation of ink, or stamping off first, gives a lighter shade of ink, which fits in with the quilt theme scrapbook page. My boys were used to playing on quilts as far back as I can remember. This theme fits perfectly into how I want to record memories for my boys. The blanket stitch stamp worked perfectly to help and frame the photos, yet set them apart from the background page. To accompany these stitch marks, I die cut a few needles and a spool from the Quilt Builder dies. Don’t they look real???? Baker’s Twine wound around the spool and threaded in needles bring the quilt theme scrapbook page to life with elements that move and add so much interest.
