Seasonal Chums Stamp Set
For today’s project, I am bringing attention to one way to customize your project with focus on the design. This week at the Global Design Project, there is a sketch challenge and I’m adding in watercolored images from Seasonal Chums for my card. Be sure to go over to the page and check out all of the cards this week and if you are up to a challenge…. add a photo of your card as well!

Seasonal Chums stamp set
There are many great stamp sets in the upcoming Holiday Catalog. Seasonal Chums is a cool set that allows for creating a front and back image of three characters plus some cheery sentiments. Being able to make a front and back to an image has a serious advantage! Creating a gift tag is the first thing that comes to mind. I will be making loads of those but for this project I thought it fun to make a patch of pumpkins with the back side and feature one with the front facing pumpkin. It’s like having two stamp sets in one! This set covers Fall and Winter holidays for cardmaking, scrapbooking and gift packing.
Watercolored backgrounds and pumpkins
When designing this card project, I remembered a watercolored panel that was sitting in a bin of extra papers. It’s a nice and colorful background for a pumpkin patch! The images are stamped onto watercolor paper and colored in with an Aqua Painter and basic ink from my stamp pads. It couldn’t get more easy! I wanted them to be bright and cherry and given the black stamping of the image, it lends a sort of glow that can not translate in the photos. My youngest son, Nate, really likes this card and the bright colors. I have a feeling I will be making some treat packaging using these punkins for his classmates very soon 🙂
Seasonal Chums Bundle will be available in my online store Sep 1st
