For today’s project, I am bringing attention to one way to customize your project with focus on the design. This week at the What Will You Stamp challenge, we are stamping with This Little Piggy stamp set. This Little Piggy stamp set

There is one problem with this stamp set… which pig to choose!

I chose the pig that was looking back at me and stamped him to be white heat embossed. The colors are mellow and calm in this sunny meadow bus I assure you they did NOT start out this way! I used some much bolder pinks and it was like this little piggy has a sunburn. Poor piggy, so I stamped off another pig and watercolored in Powder Pink. Now we have a sweet little pink pig!

 

Using frames in a design

Using frames in a design is not a new concept, in fact it’s tried and true and nearly a “no fail”. The Layering Squares Framelits dies make this a breeze! I pulled in a Stitched Frame as well to get the eyes moving around the design.

Whisper White Thick card base: 4 1/4″ x 11″, scored at 5 1/2″
plus more WW cs for square frame die cuts
Watercolor card stock scrap to stamp and die cut
