How to Create a Floral Spray for Cardmaking
For today’s project, I am adding simple watercolor and a floral arrangement to a card design. This week at the Fab Friday Stampin Challenge, they have created a fantastic color challenge to follow along in making your handmade card. Be sure to go over to the page and check out all of the Design Team’s cards this week and if you are up to a challenge…. add a photo of your card as well!

Simple Watercolor for Cardmaking
It’s not as hard as it’s thought to be to add simple watercolor for cardmaking. Working with regular Classic Stampin’ Pads in Stampin’ Up!’s beautiful array of colors can make things easy and convenient. Starting with watercolor paper, pick up color from a standard stamp pad and dab it to the paper. Add water as needed and allow the ink a few minutes to dry between applications. An Aquapainter is a perfect tool to get things moving.
How to Create a Floral Spray in Cardmaking
Having a design in mind before starting a project can make things easy to imagine being competed. I was taught many years ago, that design in florals is all about one shape: the triangle. Work in threes, from many perspectives and success is just around the corner. This project has 3 colors, the spray has 3 points to the shape of the arrangements, there are 3 basic layers on the card design. The three’s ability to create design is amazing! I’d like to hear how you choose your design, by method?
