This is a really cool bike! There are a few options in stamping out the bike and it’s parts. But I really like all if the accessories! The paper wrapped bundle of sunflowers are a perfect match for the Delightful Daisy DSP. To color the flowers, I used Watercolor pencils and melted the color with a water brush. Then I placed Glitter Enamel Dots to bring the color and sparkle factor up a bit.
Deciding how to feature the bike took a bit of thinking. I knew I wanted to pair sunflowers and this cute bicycle stamp, so the sunflowers in the Daisy Paper were a no brainer for me. But how to use the paper. Hmmm…..
Featuring just enough of the patterned paper is what I had in mind. Keeping in diagonal lines would help to bring movement to help complete a pleasing design. Placing the DSP on my Stampin’ Trimmer, I rotated the paper so that the design will appear right side up after being trimmed. I then flipped the paper to make this strip end up as 1 1/2″ wide. The easy part was to then add coordinating card stock to layer up the color and texture.
