Scrapbooking is a way to tell a visual story, versus a cardmaking project that we send to someone we care about. Many cardmaking supplies cross over into scrapbooking and vice versa, so it’s a natural progression to work in both mediums. Today I will feature a scrapbook page made for the kids to touch and play.
During the month of July, I will feature a scrapbook page design every Sunday. If you like this series, please be sure to comment on this blog post and I will keep the series going indefinitely.

Interactive scrapbook pocket pages + die cut animals = FUN!
My kids adore these pocket pages! It seems that each week, they can’t wait to get hold of the scrapbooks and flip around, pull out cards and pages and really get their hands on the memories. When using the pocket pages, I find that grabbing a die that marches the packet size is very convenient. It even allowed me to create double sided pages in a flash!
By using a few different Patterned Papers, I die cut some animals from A Little Wild Bundle, that would compliment the page style and not steal from it’s attention. This keeps with and carries the theme throughout the project. For a closer look at constructing the page, check out the instructional video at the links below to my YouTube Channel.
