Stamping on DSP with Label Me Pretty with Video for #WWYS126

Stamping on DSP

For today’s project, I am bringing attention to a different way to build a focal point for a card project by stamping on DSP. This week at the What Will You Stamp challenge, we are stamping with Label Me pretty stamp set. Be sure to go over to the page and check out all of the Design Team’s cards this week and if you are up to a challenge…. add a photo of your card as well!

Stamping on DSP

I had a dream of creating the look of wooden flowers in a card design. When Wood Textures DSP came to mind, it was natural to grab Flower Shop stamp set for the flowers and Label Me Pretty stamp set for the sentiment. By stamping on DSP, I got the look of wood combined with the shape and image of a flower. Dream came true this time, but getting there is another story. Check out the video to see the journey from one card idea into something quite different.

Label Me Pretty stamps and the Pretty Label Punch

Punching out images is easily overlooked and highly underrated.  Using punched icons in design can lend balance and interest to your project. The ability to create a label for a kitchen treat, birthday card or an all occasion sentiment, makes Label Me Pretty a nice asset to crafting supplies. To break up the monopoly of flowers, Silver Mini Sequin Trim, in similar circular patterns are a great compliment. Have you tried this Trim? Oh, I am really in love with it and will be using it more and more. Get yours in my Online Store while it’s in stock!
