Ink Smooching background
Creating an easy medallion is made simple with Eastern Medallions Thinlits Dies. The dies are large and easy to use. With Eastern Beauty stamp set, the look of handwritten fonts will feature nicely as the focal point for your next card project. Today I’ve used an easy medallion to create a clean and simple card.
How to Ink Smooch a Background
Creating an origin and natural looking background can be achieved with ease. You’ll need a piece of plastic, a water mister and an ink pad. Apply the ink pad to the plastic and give it a spritz and then dip the paper onto the plastic. You are done!
The images on this card have been fussy cut from Pick a Pattern DSP. They are nicely drawn dinosaurs that have a nice contrast to the ink smooched background. My boys love this card! I may need to get to more fussy cutting and give them a few dinosaurs to play with 🙂

Measurements for this project
Thick Whisper White card base: 5 1/2″ x 8 1/4″, scored at 4 1/4″
Pick a Pattern DSP panel: 1 3/4″ x 4″ + strip to fussy cut dinos
Basic Black card stock layer: 1 1/4″ x 4 1/2″
