One great beginning!
Today I would like to share a few things that happened this week. We have a new current catalog! One great beginning that deserves note is the release of this catalog and the project samples that will follow. We’ve had a bit of stormy weather here in New Jersey that has helped to keep things nice and cool as summer approaches. The boys are getting their little hands into more papercrafting projects! I think we have a winning stamp on page 52. Trip is very excited about stamping one of these images in particular 🙂
New Catalog is Here!
Have you received your copy of the new catalog? If you have not and wish to select me as your demonstrator, please contact me at [email protected] with your mailing information. I will post your copy and some goodies at once.
Current Blog Hops
Here is the link to the project I created for Creating Kindness Design Team Blog Hop
A Blog Hop is a group of personal websites, or Blogs, that have chosen to come together and link to one another in a shared experience. There is a common subject or purpose, so visiting all of the websites listed in the “hop” are a really pleasing experience. If someone starts out at my website, they have the opportunity to hop over to another crafter’s website to view a similar project with a common theme. It’s fun for everyone involved!
New this next week, I am excited to participate in a Blog Hop that took place on June 1st that coincided with the release of the new 2017 Stampin’ Up! catalog launch. Creating Kindness Design Team are a group of Independent Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators from around the world, who have come together to inspire you to create kindness through cardmaking and papercrafts. I hope you viewed lots of product shares to celebrate the new catalog launch.
Technique & Design
Have you started your Father’s Day projects? I made a card project this week to offer a simple solution to the “guy card” dilemma. Check it out here
Special effects are fun to create! Are you ready to get the look of watercolor using your Stampin’ Write Markers? I’ve made several color combos in this project to get an all-new effect. Have you tried this technique? Check it out here
My team member, Carol, has a few tips to share with us all. Miss Carol has been crafting for many years and is generous to share some of her insights. Thank you for sharing, Carol!
Tips for cardmaking:
Combine your stamp sets to get more use out of them in making cards and projects. Try using different techniques with them together for a brand new result.
I prefer to cut at least 4 card bases and insides at one time. Make an assembly line and it goes so much faster when it is time to design the cards. I cut everything out one day, then I am ready to go when I want to make the cards.
Welcome new team members, Dianna & Robin!
I am delighted to have you as valued members of our craft team. It’s time to get crafty!
