This card project does not have a long list of products to use, I used the stamp set and dies to their fullest advantage. Using a large sentiment is a great way to create a quick  project. Whether stamping words or adding flowers, Stampin’ Up gives us beautiful tools in Lovely Friends.

Lovely Friends

The pink flowers were inspired by the gorgeous rose bush outside my window. Beautiful English Roses in shades of pink were easy to recreate with Lovely Friends layering stamps. The large sentiment helps to fill space in the design, which helps to guide the placement of accessories. Flowers are stamped in light shades directly next to the sentiment for a dreamy background.

Creating Kindness through sharing a handmade card is one of the truly genuine ways to share of piece of yourself with a loved one. The Creating Kindness Design Team are sharing ideas this month that are in the spirit of caring and sharing. How do you share kindness with those in your life? I’d love to hear from you!

    • Oh thanks, Marcy! The flowers on your card are equally beautiful. I think we were on the same brain wave when creating our projects, and that’s very cool. -Jenny

  1. Jenny, wow! I love the soft, warm colors you chose to use! I’ve got to tell you that layering flowers like this is one of the most difficult things for me. I never seem to get them balanced well. You make it look so easy! Thanks for sharing such a gorgeous card!

    • Hey there! There is a photo of Trip when he was about 2ish years old and he is squeezing his eyes and big smile. I thought of that photo when making this card, as it’s ridiculously happy! Thanks for stopping by. 🙂 -Jenny
