Spring is a great time to get creative inspiration for crafting. Are starting to see color in your area? I’m seeing greening treetops and was inspired to create this project. I like the look of bold white on a neutral card stock color. Crumb Cake card stock is a perfect blank canvas to lending an earthy look that is pleasing.
To give a natural look to the focal point, I chose to stamp with Penned & Painted stamp set. These stamps are set up to be used in steps, or by layering them in a certain order.
How I stamped the flowers for this project:
First I stamped the base stamp. This image covers the largest area and not not show much detail. I used a 2nd generation of ink, that means I first stamped off on a scrap of paper before I stamped on the card front.
Second, I stamped with the detail stamp. Smaller image but will hold more ink and leave a detailed impression. I used the first generation of ink, not stamping off this time.
