Washi tape is very enticing to me. It has a ton of uses, yet I seem to not use it enough. Today I would like to share with you, a new way to use washi to create special die cuts.
measurements for this project:
Thick Whisper White card stock card base is 4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″
and more white card stock for die cuts
To start, I used a piece of white card stock, then placed rows of the washi tape, stacked up against one another. It need only be large enough to accomodate the size of die you plan to use. When the tape was in place, I used the edge of a stamping block to roll over the tape to assure the connection of the adhesive. The possibilities are endless with a fancy washi tape!
For a visual demonstration of this project, take a look at the video I made for this project.
I made a video tutorial for this card project, CLICK HERE TO WATCH or watch below:
Here is a list of supplies I used to make this card project. Links are here that you can click to get product info and purchase items, at no additional cost to you, as well. Thank you for your support with your purchase 🙂
Having a new technique is a great way to stretch your craft supplies. Next week I will offer up another suggestion for using your supplies in ways other than standard stamping an image. Thanks for stopping by my blog, I’m so glad you are here 🙂
