Dragonfly Dreams for #WWYS108

The What Will You Stamp Challenge Blog‘s theme this week is to use Dragonfly Dreams stamp set on a card project. Here is my project for using this stamp set. To view the challenge cards from the design team and from crafters like me and you, click here to go to the blog page.

I chose to use the sentiment from Dragonfly Dreams and make a die cut dragonfly from Detailed Dragonflies Thinlits dies. Being close to the time that we will be getting some new designer papers, I am using some of the “best of the best” from the current Annual Catalog. This piece of patterned paper from Affectionately Yours Specialty DSP was one of my favorites. So favorite that in fact I chose not to use it all, saving just one sheet back to look at throughout the year, LOL. Do you hang on to paper like that? I won’t hang on too long but did enjoy the pretty colors.

When gifting a card that will land into someone’s hand, it’s not always the first thought for adding texture. However, it may often be the one thing that is remembered about your card. Don’t forget to pop over to the What Will You Stamp Challenge to see all of the great cards. Thanks for stopping by today, I hope to have you here again soon 🙂

  1. Very pretty card! I didn’t get this set…but you just might have changed my mind!
And YES, I’m a DSP hoarder! I see paper I fall in love with, purchase said paper and then have trouble using because it is just too pretty to cut…it is too hard to pick a side that does not show…Now I did somewhat solve my dilemma by purchasing 2 packs…LoLoLoLoLoLoL
    Remember… you did ask…

    • Hi Paula! You are cracking me up! Yes, I did ask and am so glad you took the time to write. Glad you like this project. Like Kylie Bertucci says, “if you love it, CHOP IT” I’m happy to share 🙂 -Jenny

  2. I love this card on instagram but love it even more here. It’s so nice to see all the detail in a larger photo. Awesome job!
