When creating a design that you plan to mass produce, I find it best to keep things uncomplicated. Find a piece of patterned paper and let it be the focal point. Add a small sentiment and it might just get the job done.
measurements for this project:
Basic Black card base is 4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″
Inside the Lines DSP: I used scraps, they can be ANY size that works
Basic Black card stock frame: cut to 1/8″ larger than the DSP piece
Whisper White scraps for sentiment
To create the frames for the DSP, I use a simple formula:
Any piece of patterned paper will do, in any size… cut a piece of card stock as a mat that is 1/8″ larger on all sides. This will give a visual break in the colors and let the eye focus on the patterned paper. Too easy? Believe me, it works every time 🙂

This card design is simple. So simple that I sometimes tend to add more and mess it up. But it works! Thanks for stopping by my blog, I’m so glad you are here 🙂
