Copper dragonfly & coloring paper card with video

Do you like to look at paper designs and not know how to cut it up in a way to use on your project? Inside the Lines DSP is a new patterned paper from Stampin Up that is in the style of adult coloring books. Black and white images are waiting to be colored with the medium of your choice. Today I am using Watercolor Pencils to do the coloring. Let’s check it out!

The card base is made from Early Espresso card stock, which is sturdy enough to hold the panels well. I layered a piece of Copper Foil card stock and used the coloring paper as the main focus. There was no stamping on this project but you can easily add a stamped sentiment anywhere on the card design. I die cut the dragonfly from the same Copper Foil paper to tie the images together and compliment the coloring. The copper foil paper is beautiful enough to hold it’s own 🙂

Measurements for this project are:
-Inside the Lines DSP cut at: 2 1/2″ x 4 1/4″
-Early Espresso card stock cut at 2 5/8″ x 4 7/8″ (to sit under the coloring paper)
-Copper Foil paper cut at 2 3/4″ x 4 1/2″
-Early Espresso (this in an additional piece) card stock cut at  3 1/4″ x 5″

The coloring was made with Watercolor pencils and a Blender Pen. I mixed together some colors to come up with something different. It’s another way to use the pencils to have a different effect. I set the coloring paper onto the brown with Snail adhesive and then attached it to the card using Stampin Dimensionals.
