During the month of November, I featured the stamp set Basket of Wishes. This is one of the cards I featured as a free card kit! If you purchased the stamp from Stampin’ Up with my Host code, you received the kit to make this card. Have you used the strawberries image? Here is something a little different with this stamp set.
The Basket of Wishes set is very versatile. Here is a card that can be sent to either male or female, at any time of the year to celebrate a birthday. That is invaluable to me as a crafter, as I always need cards that are not too “girlie”. There is a ton of texture here! The Candy Cane Lane Bakers Twine will work perfectly for Valentine’s Day cardmaking, as it has just the right amount of sparkle. The Seaside Embossing Folder, with the wavy lines, does not overload the design but works nicely to fill in space. Do you have a special Embossing Folder that you prefer? It’s one way to add design to to your project, in a flash!
The colors I used remind me of spring. Springtime cardmaking will have great possibilities with this stamp set. When the strawberry crops come in, this will be the perfect resource! This card measures finished at 4 1/4″ x 5 1/2′ , the layers were cut each 1/8″ smaller to add just a thin border.
Here is a list of supplies I used to make this card project. Links are here that you can click to get product info and purchase items as well. Thank you for your support with your purchase 🙂
Thank you for stopping by the blog today. I hope you took advantage of getting this card kit for free last month. This stamp set will go a long way! I’m glad we could make it together 🙂
