Happy Day Basket of Wishes

During the month of November, I featured the stamp set Basket of Wishes. This is one of the cards I featured as a free card kit!

The Basket of Wishes set is very versatile. Here is a card that can be sent to either male or female, at any time of the year. That is invaluable to me as a crafter, as I always need cards that are not too “girlie”. The design echos are everywhere in this project. When a design works, it makes an image pleasing to the eye. To break it down, the design is basically oval. The background has oval shaped embossed petals, the banner paper has oval shaped flowers, the sentiment/stamped medallion is an oval, the basket shape is oval and lastly, the leaves on the succulents are ovals. It all works together but it is not by accident, it is by design 🙂

The colors I used were taken directly from the patterned paper. I pulled out the Taupe for the basket and a paper payer. The Mint Macaron is brought into the embossed background and to the stamped succulents. The Dijon is in the highlights of the stamped plants. This card measures finished at 4 1/4″ x 5 1/2′ and the banner width is 2″.

Here is a list of supplies I used to make this card project. Links are here that you can click to get product info and purchase items as well. Thank you for your support with your purchase 🙂

Thank you for stopping by the blog today. I hope you took advantage of getting this card kit for free last month. This stamp set will go a long way! I’m glad we could make it together 🙂
