This week, the Paper Chain Gang Challenge sketch challenge. My card project is made from an upcoming item from the Occasions Catalog.
My card base is made from Soft Suede cardstock, measuring 4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″ (standard US card size). The Petals & Paisleys DSP coordinates perfectly for a chocolate & vanilla looking card.
The copper polka dots on the patterned paper were the jumping off point to use copper heat embossing for the sentiment. To set the copper off from the brown cardstock, I used a white gel pen to highlight the left side of each letter. This keeps the tone on tone colors from getting lost in to one another.
Here is a list of supplies I used to make this card project. Links are here that you can click to get product info and purchase items as well. Thank you for your support with your purchase 🙂

Chocolate and vanilla are a pleasing pair. What paper/color combo would you use to recreate this sketch? Please be sure to go over to the Paper Chain Gang Challenge page and check out all of the great card projects. In the meantime, I hope you find a simple card design and make it your own. Lets make it together!
