I have been busily working behind the scenes to design and make video tutorials for the Christmas Stamp Camp. I am pleased to premier the first card in the stack (first of 4 card designs). This card features a heat embossed snowflakes design on watercolor paper.
This card is complete with silver glimmer paper accents and watercoloring for smooth texture that shows as depth. I chose three colors of ink that work together to help the heat embossed snowflakes jump forth from the paper. When fluid is applied over paper that has been heat embossed, the color stays away from the embossed image. The embossing acts like a barrier and keeps the fluid from touching the paper in that area. This card measures 4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″, standard US card size.

Here is a list of supplies I used to make this card project. Links are here that you can click to get product info and purchase items as well. Thank you for your support with your purchase 🙂
Thank you for stopping by the blog today. I will release a new Christmas Stamp Camp card every week until we have them all set and the date approaches. Be sure to reserve your place at the table for December 3rd! I’m glad we could make it together 🙂
YOUR Independent Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator
JOIN THE SWAP!
As Demonstrators prepare for OnStage in November, we will all be busily making “swap” cards. For those unable to go to OnStage, they do not get to experience the swap on a large scale. If you would like to participate in an “Across the Miles Swap”, please contact me to sign up. Here is how it will work: You will need to sign up to participate by November 15th. Once we close off the sign up date, I will contact you to let you know how many cards to make for swap. You will get back as many as you send in. If you want to swap one card, then sign up to send in one card. If you want to swap with all particiants, I will let you know how many to make and that’s how many you will send in and get back. This is a great way to share your work with others and to see what everyone else is doing. I do not anticipate this swap to go too big but if it does then I will break us into groups so as not to have everyone make a ton of cards. Are you ready to join the swap? You have until Nov 15th to sign up. Let’s make it together!
