This week, the Global Design Project’s theme challenge is “Random Acts of Kindness”. Kindness is a simple act, so I decided to make a simple card. #GDP055
I started with a single layer card base of Thick Whisper White cardstock. This cardstock will hold up nicely on it’s own. Using the group of trees image from Thoughtful Branches, I stamped trees and branches, and then muddled the ink together with a water brush.
To ground the scene, I used a piece of metallic washi tape and attached the sentiment as a banner. A small length of Linen Thread adds an earthy touch with the drops of glue that look like water drops.
Here is a supply list for the items I used in making this card.
Visit the Global Design Project page to see all of the cards for challenge # 55 by clicking here. Feel free to add your card to the challenge and check back every Monday for information on the newest weekly challenge. The home page is www.global-design-project.com .
Thanks for stopping by to view my card today. I encourage you to make a card inspired by an act of kindness toward you and send it to someone, and give them a smile. Let’s make it together.
