Thoughts & Prayers clean and simple card with vellum

Clean and simple cards are often a go-to for my crafting. One reason I like them is the design and another is how fast they are to complete. A good recipe for a quick card is nice to have ready to be used.

I put together these earthy colors to appeal to anyone, male or female, and to feature the theme of prayer. The use of the vellum to cover the designer paper lends muted colors and comforting tones. I imagine the twine bow as a hug to accompany the implied prayer.

Copper embossing the sentiment  carries the earthy color theme and adheres nicely to the vellum. This technique of using vellum is nice with bright or muted colors. It works as a filter and allows the design to come forth without overwhelming the design.
