This week for the Global Design Project Challenge #GDP052 , I was tasked to CASe (means Copy And Share everything) a card by Designer Teneale Williams. I have admired her cardmaking skills for a while and am glad to have a chance to take one of her designs for a test drive. Teneale’s card is cute and the design works well.
The main star image from Star of Light in the 2016 Holiday catalog works well as a die cut focal image so I knew this would be my card. I chose blue and copper paired with vanilla and for contrast I used copper embossing and foil sheet.
The sparkle embossing folder also plays well with it’s multitude of stars. Finishing off the card is a length of matching ribbon, just as Teneale did, and I placed a pearl in the center of the star. There are many layers on this card and a great opportunity to let the colors compliment one another.
