Are you ready for the little ones to head back to school? It’s a confusing emotion for me. I will be thankful for the quiet moments and I will be thankful for them to return each afternoon. For this week’s challenge, the Paper Chain Gang’s theme is to make a “back to school” card.
I thought about how to work in this theme for many long days (LOL). At least the light bulb came on over my head and I thought to look through my Project Life card components. Sure enough, there were several choices! I must say, using these great Project Life card pieces are the fastest way to make a card. Hands down. Also, if I am in a creative rut, they are great for fulfilling a commitment or giving inspiration. It’s just too easy 🙂
To make this card, I selected from the many pre-printed card pieces in the box, trimmed them a bit and smacked them on a card base. Added sequins for a bit of twinkle and that was it. If you are new to Project Life, it is the hassel free system for memory keeping. Using clear pockets, slip in a premade card piece plus your own photos and it’s done. Jot down notes on the cards for remembering fun stories or slip a trinket into a pocket and you have personalized a memory. It is fast and no-mess and works well with the short amounts of time I can devote to scrapbooking. Project Life is a system of pockets that are pre-sized so the card pieces are also pre cut to size and fit perfect in every pocket.
Here is a list of supplies I used to make my card. It’s a short list today!
Thanks for stopping by today. There are some days when I need a quick card that doesn’t look like I made it in 3 minutes. I hope today’s card inspires you to think outside of the norm to make a project in little time.
Let’s make it together with Project Life!
