The peeking continues with Mr. Funny Bones (item# 142245, on pg 54) for a Halloween Card. There are a good deal of products geared to make your spooky card making easy.
I like the fact that I can use this set for more than Halloween so I chose it to add to my supplies. The bones will make a great anatomy lesson for my boys as they grow and there is a cute Valentine’s Day sentiment as well. It is a well planned out stamp set!
I chose to make my card just a tiny bit spooky, but not so much as to creep me out, lol. I chose Calypso Coral as a nice contrast to the black, gray and white colors, to keep the colors from being too harsh. The Pop of Pink DSP features a ton of black and white designs so it was easy to bring in a pattern paper that could carry off the overall card theme. The skull image is stamped onto white cardstock in a pattern that would compliment the DSP and not be distracting to my eye. Overall, I am pleased that the card came together very quick and had minimal effort.
