Today’s blog post is packed full of goodies for you all. I continue my month long feature of Thoughtful Branches limited release stamps & dies with another
card for you. It’s also time to ship out the August Card Kit of the Month, which features products from Thoughtful Branches for you to hold in your hands! And last but not least, I have made a video featuring the products I most like from the upcoming Stampin’ Up! Holiday Catalog that goes live on September 1st, just a few short weeks away 🙂
Let’s start with this card, using the products from the limited release stamp & die set: Thoughtful Branches. I have made one card with the hydrangea elements, where I cut and sponged onto vellum. My card today is different in that I used Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer Paper for the flower and Old Olive cardstock for the leaves and stem. For the card base and layer, I used Thick Whisper White (my favorite!) for the base and I layered a retired specialty paper with a bit of texture. To finish the card and get my third color happening, a lovely piece of Watermelon Wonder ribbon compliments the sentiment.
This card went together on the quick, due to the amount of die cutting. I love the feel of the dimension that die cuts give a card and this card screams to be touched by the recipient. I just love it! I hope you like it as well. Thoughtful Branches really is a versatile set to have in your collection.
Moving on from monthly feature, is the release of the August Card Kit of the Month. It will be no secret, as I have selected to bring you something from Thoughtful Branches! In fact, it is the card I have featured today. In the kit will be everything you need to complete the card, including adhesive. If you are not enrolled in the Card Kit of the Month Club, this is a great time to do so. Remember, if you are enrolled in the club and you purchase the featured set, you will receive DOUBLE Stamp Club Reward Points! Kits are available to ship now, please contact me with any inquiries.
And as my final item for you today, I have made a video featuring my favorite items from the 2016 Stampin’ Up! Holiday Catalog. I will make another post tomorrow containing a breakdown of the items, but for now I give you a video that quickly runs through the products I have featured. In the coming months you will see lots of new projects displayed here on my blog and I hope you are getting as excited as I am about holiday crafting.
