A “squirrely tag” for Paper Chain Gang Challenge #013

foxyfriendsacorn1@
Foxy Friends stamp set is a woodland wonder-filled adventure. The only problem is…. which animal do I choose to make from this many possibilities? Well, I chose

to go the squirrel route 🙂 This week for the Paper Chain Gang Challenge over on Facebook (located at http://www.facebook.com/paperchaingang  ) we are making a card that has a tag. Any tag you wish, not one style in particular. My choice was to keep it relatively simple and feature a sweet animal.

The tag itself was constructed from Whisper White Thick cardstock. I stamped the animal and adornments in soft colors and used my paper-piercing tool to poke a hole at the top for linen thread. The background paper is from Serene Scenery DSP stack and coordinates perfectly with the muted colors.

For embellishments, I used a sentiment image from Acorny Thank You stamp set and punched it out with the Acorn Builder Punch. Super simple and quick 🙂 The sequins are from the catalog with a few extras thrown in from left over Paper Pumpkin kits. I find that I always have a few leftovers from the monthly kits and I use them here and there for a bit of twinkle.

Thanks for stopping by today to have a look. What does the fox say? She says we should make it together, soon!
