July 2016 Paper Pumpkin Kit… it’s a gem!

Have you completed your Paper Pumpkin Kit for July? This month, Paper Pumpkin created

a 3D project for crafters to enjoy.  I like the surprise of not knowing “what’s in the box”, especially when it is a project that I would not have chosen for myself.  It seems as if the Paper Pumpkin Fairy Godmothers knew that a little departure from the norm would be just what would stretch my creativity this month.

In the kit were the pre-scored boxes with metallic foil highlights, coordinating thick baker’s twine and a GREAT stamp set! In all honesty, I am not thrilled with every stamp set that I have received in my monthly kit, but this one is a gem (lol!). There are several styles of gems and a few sentiments to choose from which pair nicely with the Emerald Envy ink spot included.

The box units also have the adhesive pre-installed in the proper places, which made it super easy and really fast assembly. My kids even tried to get in on the fun and folded up a few diamond shaped pieces. To make the tags, I used copper embossing to match the foil accents, which did give the “bling” that I was looking for.

These little gems will make their way to my Team meeting tonight, as a treat for my team mates. I included a tiny gem of chocolate in each box and signed each card with love.

With the upcoming holiday season approaching, now is a great time to consider subscribing to Paper Pumpkin. I will continue to post my completed monthly kits and will assist you if you wish to order a specific month’s project.

Let’s make it shine, together!
