Watercolor Pencils Easter card with a coloring video

Let’s dig further into using the Watercolor Pencils today. To help demonstrate another way to use them, I have made a video showing exactly the way I colored this project. By adding a small sentiment to the bottom, it lends a more simple look to a potentially complicated design.

measurements for this project:
Old Olive card base is 4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″
Basic Black card stock layer: 5 1/8″ x 3 7/8″
Basic Black card stock frame: 5″ x 3 1/4″
Inside the Lines DSP card front: 4 7/8″ x 3 1/8″

Coloring this project was very much straight forward. After the video was completed, I decided I needed some additional texture, so I added some glue from the Fine-Tip Glue Pen to the centers of the flowers. While I had it out, LOL, I added some glue to the bee as well. And being as the glue was wet, I added some Dazzling Details glitter. Only because it was wet, you know. (not really!!! Glitter fiend right here!) These small details really make the card, in my opinion. The shine on the centers is very eye catching.

For a visual demonstration of this project, take a look at the video I made for this project.

This card design is simple. So simple that I sometimes tend to add more and mess it up. But it works! Thanks for stopping by my blog, I’m so glad you are here 🙂
