Neutral colors with a die cut accent

While supplies last and it’s only available until March 31st!

Working in neutral colors in a clean and simple card design can be a joy or a nightmare. Overcomplicating a cardmaking design is far too easy. At times I look at a component for a day before I decide to create a card with it. Having a design in mind before you start, can really help the process. In deciding to make this card, I wanted a tone on tone look with the leaves and flowers. But there would need to be a color disruption to balance the design visually. Hmmm…… in comes the diagonal stripe of the patterned paper 🙂 Problem solved!

Using the Glassine paper for the die cut was not difficult. Glassine is very thin but it does not tear when I use it for die cutting. What I do like the most about it is the way the wings curl up on the Dragonflies That’s not my work, it’s the paper 🙂
